Mr. Lang is an experienced business development and capital markets professional with 10 years of experience in the mineral resource sector. Joness previously served as VP, Corporate Development for Riverside and has significant experience leading equity financings and sourcing, structuring and negotiating new joint-venture, strategic alliance and spin-out partnerships. Joness continues to support Riverside in an advisory capacity, while currently serving as the VP, Corporate Development with Maple Gold Mines Ltd. Mr. Lang earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Royal Roads University, graduating with distinction, and was also an honours student at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) where he earned his Marketing Management Entrepreneurship diploma.
Fred Daley recently retired as Teck’s Vice President, Exploration. Appointed in April of 1998, he was responsible for Teck’s exploration programs worldwide, overseeing exploration activities in ten countries. Mr. Daley joined Teck Corporation as a geologist in January 1989. He was appointed Western Canada District Manager, Exploration in 1991, a position he held until 1994; and was Vice President Exploration, Western Canada from 1994 to 1998. He has over 35 years of exploration experience in North and South America, Australia, Europe, southern Africa, China, and the former Soviet Republic. Mr. Daley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Sciences from the University of British Columbia (1975) and a Master of Science degree in Applied Sciences (Minex) from Queens University (1986). He is currently a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada and a registered P. Geo. (B.C.).
Locke Goldsmith has advised Riverside on exploration approaches, sampling, and other work over the past years. He has extensive experience in exploration and mining with over 50 years in the field expertise. Mr. Goldsmith has been a self-employed mining exploration geologist since 1970. He has consulted for many companies with work around the world including through out North and South America. He has worked on projects in Mexico and brings vast knowledge to advise Riverside. He is a registered professional engineer in the Canadian Provinces of Ontario and British Columbia. He is a registered professional geologist with the Province of British Columbia and the States of Oregon, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Mr. Goldsmith is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists and the American Institute of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers. Mr. Goldsmith is a Graduate of the Haileybury School of Mines in Ontario, Canada. Mr. Goldsmith received his B.Sc. (Honours) in Geology from the Michigan Technological University. Mr. Goldsmith received his M.Sc in Geology from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
